Welcome to the South Wootton Infant School PTFA

We are a friendly group of mums, dads, grandparents and school staff members who organize and run events to raise funds for our children at the school.

Below are just some of the things we have covered payment for during the past few years:

New Reception children all received a book bag and story book as a welcome gift – total cost £330

Year 2 children all received a lovely hardback book as a leaver’s gift – total cost £340

WHSmith vouchers for 100% attendance – total cost £70

New Hi Viz jackets so a whole year group can wear them when on local walks and trips – total cost £240

New outdoor play equipment - total cost £15,000

Monster phonics books for reading at home - total cost £1200

Events

Here are some of the events that we organise during the school year:

Cake Sales                Summer Fair              Colour Run

Our biggest fund raiser is always the Summer Fair and we are pleased to say that we raised over £3500 in July from the Fair and the Colour Run! 

We need your help

If you would like to join the PTFA then we would love to hear from you. We meet once every half term. There is no pressure as we know everyone has busy lives! You do not have to attend the meetings to be a part of the PTFA but we always welcome new ideas and feedback. If you can help in anyway please let Mrs Sarah Crosby in the school office know and we will add you on to our list of helpers that we can approach for larger events.
